Former Sen. John Edwards is so screwed. America's most notorious weekly newspaper is repoting that Democrat John Edwards, the man the party wanted to put a heartbeat from the presidency in 2004, is about to be indicted by a Federal grand jury. At this point, the leaking of the sex video he made with his mistress Rielle Hunter is the least of his worries. Apparently, getting money was not a problem during his run for the White House. But apparently when people give you a shitload of money for your political campaign to hide your mistress that is a problem especially when you don't report the income to the IRS and a problem with the FBI if you don't fill out those pesty disclosure forums. If you want to unleash your penis for a vagina tasting tour of America, here's a hint: Don't be married, don't be running for President and keep your books in order. Just a thought. Because The National Enquirer sees an indictment in the near future of former presidential candidate, John Edwards. His wife Elizabeth… the woman who defended Johnny against that mean old Ann Coulter who mocked his masculinity. Oh dear. She will testify against her own husband at trial. A scorned woman is a very dangerous thing indeed. The National Enquirer report:

The ultimate fall from grace, a Federal grand jury is about to indict John Edwards, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

In another shocker, close sources say Edwards' estranged wife Elizabeth could help send the former presidential candidate to jail!

Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter.

The grand jury has been meeting since April 2009, and insiders say an indictment is imminent
.

"John is terrified that he's going to be indicted," a friend told The ENQUIRER.

"While he believes he's done nothing illegal in trying to hide his extramarital affair with Rielle and their daughter, he thinks the Feds are going to make an example of him."

So John Edwards might be hearing those three little words which strike fear into the hearts of politicians everywhere: "You are indicted." That's one expensive piece of pussy. Don't know what guys like John and Tiger are thinking. You'd be better off picking up a hooker. The payout amounts/hush money are MUCH less. Now it is all IRS and money stuff. Hey, when you knock up your girlfriend and you don't want voters to know, it gets expensive. As always, the story on the Enquirer website is a teaser of what is contained in today's print edition of The National Enquirer which the story reminds readers they can pick up at news stands everywhere. As I said in the early days of this scandal and during the months of the investigation, my money is on the Enquirer in this one. The things they are going to do to a pretty boy like John Edwards in prison kinda make you feel sorta sorry for him. Anyway, here are some pics while we wait for the preggo sex video to leak. Click on pictures to enlarge.

Johnny Reid "John" Edwards (born June 10, 1953 in Seneca, South Carolina, U.S.A.) is an American politician who served as a U.S. Senator from North Carolina. He was the Democratic nominee for Vice President in 2004, and was a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004 and 2008.

He defeated incumbent Republican Lauch Faircloth in North Carolina's 1998 Senate election. Towards the end of his single six-year term, he sought the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2004 presidential election. He eventually became the 2004 Democratic candidate for vice-president, the running mate of presidential nominee Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts.

After Edwards and Kerry lost the election to President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney, Edwards began working full-time at the One America Committee, a political action committee he established in 2001, and was appointed director of the Center on Poverty, Work and Opportunity at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
